2025 Usui Holy Fire Reiki Levels I & II Training & Certification

Reiki is a form of energy work that reduces stress and leads to deep relaxation. Reiki originated in Japan and the word stands for universal life force energy. Reiki enhances a person's natural ability to heal and aims to bring balance and harmony to one’s energy system. Anyone with curiosity and a desire to learn Reiki, can. Whether you are feeling called to learn this beautiful modality to elevate your relationship with self, enhance already existing practices, or provide private energy work sessions for others then Reiki is for you.

Reiki is typically taught in levels- I, II, and Reiki Master and must be facilitated by a Reiki Master.

Level I and II are foundational classes for Reiki; it is recommended (but not required) to complete the two together. You must hold a Reiki level I certificate before moving on to level II. 

What to expect for Reiki Training Level I

You'll receive: Level one Reiki attunement, First and Second Degree Reiki Manual, Handout Folder, Level I certification of completion

Teachings will allow for a deeper understanding of what Reiki is, how it works, and how to invite Reiki energy into your everyday life for yourself and others at a non-practitioner level. 

You will also learn about

• The history of Reiki

• How to scan yourself and others for energy blockages

• The three pillars of Reiki: Gassho, Reiji-ho, Chiryo

• Kenyoku- a method to cleanse ones energy field

• Science publications on Reiki

• Reiki for empaths and highly sensitive people

• How to bless and cleanse a space 

• Grounding methods

• Reiki code of ethics

• Introduction to Chakras and the Energy Body

What to expect for Reiki Training Level II- practitioner level

You'll receive: Level II attunement, First and Second Degree Reiki Manual, Handout Folder, and Level II Certification of Completion.

We will expand upon all topics covered in Level I, and introduce and practice using Level II Reiki symbols. Power Symbol(strengthens the flow of Reiki energy), Mental/ Emotional Symbol (assists in mental and emotional healing, breaking a bad habit, balancing the left and right side of the brain) Distance Symbol (sends Reiki from a distance- past and future)

You will also learn-

• Reiki anatomy

• How to give a complete session

• How to take an intuitive approach to sessions 

• Introduction to extra tools:  pendulum, crystals, and oils

• Seeing the Aura and color interpretations

• Introduction to meridians and the nervous system

• Gyoshi ho- sending Reiki with the eyes

• Koki Ho- using the breath with Reiki

• Distance Reiki

• Using Reiki to break/change a habit or to start a healthy one

• How to protect your energy field

• Reiki business tips

Both levels I and II allow for adequate hands-on practice time, discussion, meditations, attunements, and questions. 

Training and teachings will be guided by Mareesa Jackson. Mareesa is a Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher, and Sound Practitioner. She has worked one-on-one with clients over the years providing energy work sessions for those seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual support.
