Why prenatal services?

Prenatal and postpartum days can be a vulnerable time for moms. Your body and mind are going through so much change. It is more important than ever during pregnancy to be able to nurture your needs so both mom and baby can be healthy. A mother’s physical, mental, and emotional state affect the future healthy development of the unborn child.

Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga helps to empower soon-to-be moms. It gives moms a chance to check in with their bodies and bring tools learned into their birth experience and into early motherhood. Yoga asanas (yoga poses) strengthen the body from the inside out.

Prenatal & Postnatal Reiki

Reiki is a very gentle and safe energy that may be used at any stage of pregnancy. Reiki supports soon-to-be moms through the ongoing physical, emotional, and spiritual changes that take place during that time. It can also relieve common symptoms such as exhaustion and nausea.

Receiving a Reiki treatment after baby is born is just as beneficial. Reiki will allow the body to drop into a deep relaxation that will stimulate and accelerate the body’s natural ability to heal its self. Reiki can also be used to ease postpartum anxiety and depression. Baby is welcome to join in on the session!
